What might Supreme Court Chief Justice nominee John Roberts
think of an implantable microchip?

One of the primary focuses of my website is to raise the awareness
level of my readers concerning what's going on around them in the news of
our world today which may be of prophetic significance. In the sense that
many of them are clearly heeding my call for them to do so, I am being tipped
off to a lot of things I just wouldn't have the time to find on my own,
quite frankly.
As almost everyone on the planet knows, whether they live
in America or elsewhere, confirmation hearings are currently underway for
John G. Roberts, Jr. to become Chief Justice of the United States Supreme
Court, an appointment which, if approved, will distinctively shape the future
course of the United States for quite some time as Roberts may, hypothetically,
be presiding over the court for a long time, barring any unforeseen misfortune
in his life.
As expected, Roberts is being grilled on his views on abortion
and civil rights, essentially the usual things. What has captured my attention,
however, thanks to an alert reader of RaptureAlert.com bringing it to my
attention, is something that was brought up at the outset of the hearings
by Democratic Senator Joseph R. Biden of Delaware during his opening
remarks.
Biden remarked, among other things, he believes America's
"journey of progress is under attack from the Right." He continued,
eventually saying the following (emphasis added mine):
Judge, I dont believe the Constitution these individuals
long for could have led to the America our Founders envisioned. Like the Founders,
I believe our Constitution is as big and as grand as this great nation.
Our constitutional journey did not stop with women barred from being lawyers,
with 10-year-olds working in coal mines, or with black kids forced into
different schools than white kids just because the Constitution nowhere
mentions sex discrimination, child labor, or segregated
education.
Our constitutional journey did not stop then, and it must not stop now.
For we will be faced with equally consequential decisions in the 21st
Century: can microscopic tags be implanted in a persons body to track
his every movement; can patents be issued for the creation of human
life; can brain scans be used to determine whether a person is inclined
toward criminal or violent behavior?
What an interesting topic for Senator Biden to be considering in relation
to whether or not he will vote in favor of John G. Roberts, Jr. to be Chief
Justice of the United States Supreme Court! Can microscopic tags be implanted
in our bodies to track our every movement? Based on it being brought up
by Biden, I presume Senator Biden believes a conservative faction of our government
is in support of seeing that take place in the future, perhaps while Roberts
may be serving on the US Supreme Court.
Is Senator Biden simply playing on the fears of Americans, particularly President
Bush's conservative Christian supporters, by planting a suspicion in our minds
that President Bush is secretly in favor of issues that all Bible-believing
Christians would cringe at or is it possible Senator Biden knows something
concerning where America is headed under our conservative leadership that
we in the general public don't know and is genuinely concerned? It's a tough
call from my perspective, but I find Biden's remarks more than a little interesting,
in light of what the recently-passed REAL ID Act is set to bring about, assuming
it isn't altered from its present form prior to being implemented.
Recently, I read an article on the topic of the REAL ID Act written by Anita Ramasastry, a few excerpts
from which I'm going to share to bring my readers up to speed on how REAL
ID Act came to exist, what it encompasses, and how it may impact our future.
Ramasastry wrote, in part (emphasis added mine):
-
In May 2005, Congress passed the "Real ID"
Act, which requires states - starting in May 2008 -- to issue federally
approved driver's licenses or identification (ID) cards to those who live
and work in the U.S.
Unlike the USA Patriot Act and other politically sensitive
pieces of legislation, Real ID has not made many headlines. Last fall,
it was voted down. But then it was reintroduced, and tacked onto the 2005
Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for Defense, the Global War on Terror
and Tsunami Relief. (Real ID hence superseded conflicting portions of
the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004.) Obviously,
it would have been a serious political liability for a Congressperson
to vote against funding for the war on terror and tsunami relief. So it
is unsurprising that there was no debate on, no hearings on, and no
public vetting of the Act.
The REAL ID Act was slipped in on us so quietly it isn't funny! Many people
to this day fail to realize it even happened it drew so little attention!
-
The Real ID Act's identity cards will be required not only
if one wants to drive, but also if one seeks to visit a federal government
building, collect Social Security, access a federal government service,
or use the services of a private entity (such as a bank or an airline) that
is required under federal law to verify customer identity.
In other words, it will be well nigh impossible to
live without such an ID.
Like it or not, according to Ramasastry, it is going to be nigh impossible
to live without a national ID card. Are you getting the picture in relation
to how this potentially relates to Bible prophecy yet, Christians?
Talk about a major privacy concern! Everywhere we go, everything we do, both
financially and otherwise, will potentially be trackable by the government?
Can you imagine? And this is, potentially, going to take place in "the
land of the free" and the home of the brave?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I believe we are witnessing, at
this present hour in the world around us, the birth pains of the coming mark
of the beast prophesied in the Bible. Governments around the world, both in
the United States and abroad, are being driven by fear to consider doing things
that will make even our most basic human privacies a thing of the past, at least
where governmental monitoring is concerned, all of it taking place, allegedly,
to make our world a safer place.
What might Supreme Court Chief Justice nominee John Roberts think of an implantable
microchip? While I hadn't really given the topic a great deal of thought, I'm
beginning to wonder now, in light of Senator Biden oddly bringing the controversial
topic up, if we need to know - and desperately - what he thinks of the concept
of Americans being tagged and tracked like wild animals. My guess is we won't
get a great deal of insight into his thoughts on the topic, particularly if
conspiracy theorists who suggest a new world order is secretly being formed
beneath our collective noses are correct in thinking this sort of identification
is a stepping stone toward a one-world government identification becoming a
reality in the future.
News like this really stirs the imagination, doesn't it? It isn't hard to envision
how everything could proceed from this point forward. First comes the microchip-implanted
national ID card, which many nations in Europe are similarly considering implementing
as I've documented in the past. Then, due to theft, fraud, blah blah blah, and
a bit of propaganda thrown in, etc., we move on to the next stage of making
ourselves "more safe in an increasingly dangerous world" (or something
all warm and fuzzy sounding like that) and switch to an implantable microchip,
allegedly a fraud-proof form of identification!
While some of the preceding paragraph is admittedly speculative on my part,
Bible prophecy tells us the prophesied Antichrist's False Prophet, upon his
arrival onto the world stage, is eventually going to require all mankind,
both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in
their right hand, or in their foreheads that no man might buy or sell,
save he that had the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
(Revelation 13:16-17)
While it is admittedly premature to suggest an implantable microchip technology
will comprise the prophesied mark of the beast, Senator Joseph Biden's remarks
make it clear to me the particular technology in question, which is eerily similar
in description to the prophesied mark of the beast, is being considered as a
means to identify us all in the highest halls of government. That alone should
grab our attention.
Keep looking up!
