The Catholic Church no longer swears by the truth of the Bible

1st Timothy 4:1: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Sooner or later, we're told in prophecy, the hour is going to come when the Word of God will be cast aside in favor of the doctrines of devils! Well, the time this is coming to pass, as I continue to document, is sooner rather than later!

Demonstrating this, a Times Online article is reporting "the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true."

Excerpts of interest found in the article (emphasis added mine):

The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy” from the Bible.
"We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific accuracy or complete historical precision," they say in The Gift of Scripture.

Stop the presses! We shouldn't expect accuracy or precision from the Bible, which God tells us He is using to make known the end from the beginning, as seen in Isaiah 46:10? We shouldn't believe, as we're told in Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, and Luke 21:33, that heaven and earth shall pass away but God's words shall not pass away? Yeah, right!

And then comes the part of the article where we see the god of this world's fingerprints all over this plot straight from hell:

The document is timely, coming as it does amid the rise of the religious Right, in particular in the US.
Some Christians want a literal interpretation of the story of creation, as told in Genesis, taught alongside Darwin’s theory of evolution in schools, believing “intelligent design” to be an equally plausible theory of how the world began.

Can it be any more obvious than it is that Satan is turning up the heat on those of us upholding the Word of God as literal truth or what? Satan, as seen within the information contained in the excerpt directly above, is fighting to insure Darwin's theory of evolution remains the only "logical" explanation for our existence, as opposed to "intelligent design" (which still isn't Creation by the way) being taught in classrooms around the world. Why does Satan care so much about keeping "intelligent design" out of classrooms? I'll tell you why! The second someone believes there is a Creator, they begin to accept the possibility that they're accountable to Him and Satan just can't have that, especially when there are so many he has deceived into believing the great lie! If "intelligent design" finds its way into classrooms, what will be next? GOD?

I've said it before and I'll say it again! If there are any two books of the Bible Satan despises above all others, they are Genesis, which tells us our God is the Creator of and Ruler over all things, and Revelation, which demonstrates that God is going to win the battle of good versus evil, the saints of God are going to prevail over darkness and inherit eternal life, Israel is going to survive, Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and Satan and his minions will ultimately be DEFEATED!

Two other points made in the Times Online article I specifically want to address are as follows:

They say the Church must offer the gospel in ways “appropriate to changing times, intelligible and attractive to our contemporaries”.

They go on to condemn fundamentalism for its “intransigent intolerance” and to warn of “significant dangers” involved in a fundamentalist approach.

The two points above are classic examples of satanic deception at work. Are they in any manner accurate? Absolutely not!

Jesus Christ doesn't change with the times to be attractive to anyone's contemporaries! Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Christians are to be intolerant of sin, but to love sinners! Jesus called the Church the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Light dispels darkness and salt prevents spoilage! Therefore, our mandate and mission is clear! Because this is true, there are no so-called "significant dangers" in the Church upholding the Word of God as it is literally written! Significant dangers, as we see in 1st Timothy 4:1, come from men wandering away from the literal teachings of the Word of God, yielding themselves to seducing spirits, not the opposite!

2nd Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

What are those of us who are holding the line for the Lord here in the end times to do when men try to undermine the teachings of Scripture in favor of political correctness and so-called "changing times?" We are, in part, to remind one another that it is prophesied that there will be those in the Church of the end times who will strive to lead the faithful into embracing the doctrines of devils!

1st Timothy 4:6: If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

Don't flinch, Christians, where the literal teachings of the Word of God are concerned! Don't do it! Not now! Not ever!
2nd Timothy 4:1-5: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
