The 'Christianization' of America

It seems we've been found out! According to a Haaretz article, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman, believes the Church is trying to 'Christianize' America, seeking to implement a Christian worldview!

I often write of Satan's wicked deceptions designed to deny God the glory and honor He deserves and this is just another example. Why is it okay, for example, for most everyone in America the Tolerant to lobby our government in support of forwarding their personal goals for America, but it is perceived to be a grave threat when the born-again, Bible-believing, Christ-honoring Christian does the same? Probably because it's perceived we'd speak the name of Christ in public or, worse yet, state the truth concerning the unfounded allegations our forefathers had a problem with the God of the Bible being honored in government.

Haaretz quotes Foxman as saying the following:

"Today we face a better financed, more sophisticated, coordinated, unified, energized and organized coalition of groups in opposition to our policy positions on church-state separation than ever before. Their goal is to implement their Christian worldview. To Christianize America. To save us!"

Foxman goes on in the article to name names, stating that Focus on the Family, the Alliance Defense Fund, the American Family Association, Family Research Council and others associated with Christian values have established new organizations, church-based networks, and built infrastructure throughout the country in an attempt to promote traditional Christian values! Oh my goodness! Christians are trying to lead people to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior AND getting politically involved in the open warfare that is being waged against the cross of Calvary by the ACLU and other evil organizations who hope to eliminate traditional moral and family values by first silencing the Church and the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Haaretz calls Foxman's attack on Christianity "the first all-out media assault by an ADL head on the U.S. Christian establishment." We can be sure the ADL's attack won't be the last to take place against the faithful. Things are getting uglier by the minute where the hatred of Christinity is concerned, but there is hope for those of us being targeted for criticism by the enemies of the cross in this manner.

Jesus said, as recorded in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

Not only did Jesus tell us He was going to prepare a beautiful place for us to abide in where we would feel right at home, He promised He would return for us and receive us unto Himself!

While I am as certain as I possibly can be that our Savior's return is drawing near, I'm not panicking because of the world's hatred of us in the least. Why? Because we are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with His Church and He always will be, even to the end of the world! (Matthew 28:20)

Until Jesus returns for us, our goal should be to continue in our efforts to 'Christianize' America, as well as every other nation in the entire world! Whether they like us for it or not, it's for their own good, as shown in Psalms 33:12. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD!
