Gay bishop attacks!

A BBC article states the "first openly gay Anglican bishop, Gene Robinson, has called for the Roman Catholic church's attitude to homosexuals to be confronted." The truth of the matter, however, is his attack spreads much farther than to Catholicism! It is directed at each and every person who believes in a literal interpretation of the Word of God concerning what is sexually acceptable in the eyes of Almighty God.

The good "Bishop" Robinson, who is a false prophet if ever I've seen one, recently stated, according to the article, that the Vatican's ban on homosexual men being ordained as priests is "vile." Ironically, one definition of the word 'vile' seems to apply to "Bishop" Robinson far more than it does the Vatican. Which one? The one that defines 'vile' as: Morally depraved; ignoble or wicked.

Not only did Robinson suggest it was vile for Catholics to throw gays out of seminaries, he said, as seen in the article, "It is an act of violence that needs to be confronted." Removing gays from attending seminaries wherein they're trained to be priests is violence now? If so, every public school in America has committed an act of violence against the Most High God by tossing Him out the door, huh?

Make no mistake about it. "Bishop" Robinson is no bishop, at least by the Bible's standards. He is a false prophet - one who openly deceives people concerning the teachings of Scripture in the interest of his own ongoing sexual misconduct.

A bishop, according to 1st Timothy 3:2-4, is to be "blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;"

While Robinson is the husband of one wife, he left her to live with his male lover, whom he still lives with as far as I know. In doing so and continuing to do so, he is living a lifestyle of homosexuality as well as adultery, both of which are forbidden by the Word of God he presents himself as being in support of!

As for Robinson's children being in subjection to him, he abandoned them as well for his forbidden male love interest. Hardly a good ministerial quality!

Not only does Robinson not meet the requirements to be a bishop as defined in the Word of God, he is demonstrably continuing in rebellion against the Word of God through his adulterous relationship with another man, joyfully trying to further the cause of others who would defile priesthood as he presently is in the process!

The Bible warns us there will be an abundance of men like Robinson in the end times, as seen in Matthew 24:11, as well as Matthew 24:24. These men are described in the following manner in Matthew 7:15-20:

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Setting the record straight on what is vile and what isn't

Adultery, the act of having sex with someone other than one's spouse, is forbidden in the following Scriptures: Exodus 20:14; I Corinthians 6:9-10.

Adultery between unmarried persons is forbidden in: I Corinthians 5:1; 6:13, 6:18; and Ephesians 5:3.

God's view on homosexuality is found in: Genesis chapter 19; Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Deuteronomy 23:17; Romans 1:24-27; 1st Corinthians 6:9-10; 1st Timothy 1:10; Jude 7.

Matthew 24:24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Don't let any man, Gene Robinson or anyone else, tell you that the message of the Word of God today is different than it was at any time in the past! Nothing, contrary to what "Bishop" Robinson seems to think, has changed from ancient times until now concerning God's plan for mankind to express his sexuality!

While I'm all for everyone loving one another as Christ would have us to, regardless of sexual orientation, the role of the Christian, both in times past and the present, is to present the world with God's view of things, particularly the gospel of Jesus Christ that all those who are willing may come to know Him as their Lord and Savior through repentance of their sins and faith in His amazing grace and be saved from God's wrath to come!

While it would make many people more comfortable for the Church to begin following in the footsteps of men like "Bishop" Robinson, promoting a form of the gospel that allows those outside God's will to follow their own path to heaven as opposed to the one laid out in the Bible - a journey filled with struggle against the many weaknesses and sins of the flesh which can only be overcome through faith in Jesus Christ and a sincere desire to obey the Word of God, the Church is to present God's Word to mankind, regardless of how comfortable it makes them initially. To do otherwise is to imperil the eternal souls of all mankind as "Bishop" Robinson presently is!

If "Bishop" Robinson believes the Vatican's position on homosexual priests is vile, I wonder what he is going to think on the day of his judgment, especially when he has to look directly into the eyes of Christ, having fiercely fought against the very Word of God his position as a bishop is supposed to require him to model through his lifestyle for all the world to see?

If he thinks he's feeling uncomfortable now, he ain't seen nothing yet!
