The EU's Solana will soon visit Israel

Doctor Javier Solana, the European Union's High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, as well as Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union, will soon be making a trip to Israel, as seen in a People's Daily Online article. His goal? According to the article, it will be to "coordinate the operation of the Rafah crossing on the Gaza-Egypt border between Israel and the Palestinian National Authority", as well as "discuss with Palestinian officials the role of the EU as a third party in operating the Rafah crossing and an EU-sponsored development plan in the Gaza Strip designed to revive the territory's economy."

The European Union as a third party to peace in the Holy Land? How long have I been telling the readers of my website to be watching for a development like this to take place in preparation for the advent of the Antichrist, as well as the onset of the Tribulation Period, to occur, both of which will be preceded by the Rapture of the Church? Literally for years, practically since the very birth of the website in 2003!

As seen in a Century Foundation article entitled 'Israel and the EU: A Path to Peace', Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom recently stated, "Our objective is for the Europeans to have enforcement capabilities in the field, and not just a symbolic presence".

Enforcement capabilities! Remember, prophecy watchers, the prophet Daniel tells us, as seen in Daniel 9:27, the prophesied Antichrist, a leader from the revived Roman empire, is someday going to confirm a seven-year peace covenant in the Middle East! The word 'confirm' indicates, in my opinion, he is going to have enforcement capabilities! This groundwork for this coming to pass is being laid before our very eyes!

Within the same article mentioned above, the title of which is prophetic of things to come within itself, an item of interest is found which implies what I have additionally suggested in the past could eventually come to pass - the possibility Israel could be offered an opportunity to obtain a full EU membership, in return, say, for Israel entering into a long-term peace agreement with the Palestinians - may yet become a reality.

Two excerpts of interest from the article (emphasis added mine):

The new reality is growing interest in the possibility for Israel to become a full member of the EU. Historical, cultural, and most importantly economic elements continue to bind Israel to Europe, and the EU relationship can be critical for the Israeli economy in coming decades. As a result, Europe now has an unprecedented opportunity to step up to the plate, restart the stalled "road map," which is set to expire in December, and act as a peace broker to clear the biggest obstacle to Israel's ascension into the Union-Israelis' unresolved conflict with Palestinians.
Israel should do all it can to reach toward the stability and economic vitality promised by closer ties with Europe. The EU should seize this opportunity to step fully into its new role as a major power and use that influence to facilitate the long awaited final status resolution of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Is the EU going to, as the Century Foundation suggests it should, seize this opportunity to step into its new role as a major world power and facilitate the long awaited final status resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? I don't know, but Javier Solana, the man who presently is the EU leader in charge of its foreign policy, is heading to the Holy Land soon where the EU has recently been offered a role as a third party in peacemaking as well as enforcement capabilities!

Brothers and sisters in Christ, if the hair on your neck is lying down after reading all that, I love you but you must be in a spiritual coma! If ever we have had cause to believe that the return of Jesus Christ is right around the prophetic corner, that time is now! I'm so close to the edge of my seat I'm liable to fall out yet!
