Anything to prevent an accident, right?

by Michael G. Mickey

(12-2-05)

According to an RFID blog, NTT Data, Nissan and three other companies have developed an RFID system capable of detecting when children are near an automobile. The system is allegedly designed to prevent vehicle-versus-child traffic accidents in residential areas. How would the cars "know" where the children are, you ask? Because the children would be wearing a "good luck charm" with an RFID microchip implanted in it, of course.

The car, allegedly, would alert the driver that a child with said "good luck charm" was moving about in any area where the two might come in contact with one another, theoretically lowering the likelihood children would be injured in traffic accidents.

Who would've guessed that RFID technology placed on a person's body, especially a child's, could be so beneficial, other than those who have heard it said - and repeatedly - that this is an angle that will be used to make RFID more acceptable to us with a larger goal in mind?

While I can't state with certainty whether a system like the one described in this commentary's opening remarks will ever be utilized or not, it wouldn't surprise me in the least as it would be an approach Satan and his minions could utilize to lead gullible mankind, ever so subtly, closer toward acceptance of the prophesied mark of the beast in the future.

Do you struggle to see how nonbelievers could be deceived into accepting the mark of the beast in the Tribulation Period to come if tactics like the one outlined above lays the groundwork for a greater use of RFID or a similar technology in the future? I don't, although I struggle to believe alarm bells aren't going to go off in people's minds when their acceptance of such a device in the future is tied to blind allegiance to the person who will put this technology (or one strikingly similar to it) to its ultimate use, as described below.

Revelation 13:16-17: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Thus far on RaptureAlert.com, I've documented RFID technology being hailed as a possible solution to:

  • medically-disabled persons wandering off undetected.
  • children being abducted and law enforcement not being able to find them quickly enough to prevent them from being harmed by predators.
  • domestic pets being permanently separated from pet owners.
  • health officials keeping track of where many corpses left behind in the aftermath of a large-scale disaster like hurricane Katrina are stored, arguably to speed up the identification process.
  • a variety of security issues, such as insuring only authorized personnel gain entry to law enforcement, military, and other governmental and privately-owned facilities.
It all sounds so innocent and safe, doesn't it? That, my friends, is the trap.

The positive aspects of a technology like that which will be used by the government of Antichrist in the prophetic future has to have been laid prior to the time it will be implemented, in my opinion. Do I believe our fears are being played upon by the powers of darkness now in an attempt to prepare mankind psychologically for what will come in the prophetic future? You bet your "good luck charm" I do!!!

Even if I didn't understand what Bible prophecy tells us a technology similar in description to an implanted RFID device will ultimately be used for, I'd be very suspicious of a system like the one the blog linked above states is in development being used on a child of mine. Why? Because I can see how the technology described in the blog could endanger more children than it would ever help! Can you?

Let's say, for example, a sexual deviant named Billy B. Pedophile hears there's a car on the market that can detect when a child is near. Naturally, because children young enough to need one will likely be the only individuals to wear one of the automaker's "good luck charms" - a charm which will interact with Billy B. Pedophile's car to "warn" him when he's nearing one his vehicle might strike - Billy has a new toy, doesn't he?

How long do you think it would take the sick mind of Billy B. Pedophile, driven by his evil lusts, to surmise that his task of finding a child to ABDUCT might be aided by OWNING a car that tells him when he's near one, even if the intent of the device on the car would be to keep him from running over a child? Not too long! As such, any automaker that would utilize such a system should name the model of the car it would be featured on an 'Abductor' because Billy B. Pedophile would surely be driving one soon, the safety-conscious citizen that he is!

In these end times we're living in, we have to be constantly aware of our surroundings, especially when it comes to things being designed to enhance our safety. Not everything that glitters is gold, if you know what I mean, especially in the end times!

Or would we be willing to do anything to prevent an accident, even tag our children like cattle, technologically marking their position for anyone who drives by with the technology to see them to do so? Even if the guy driving by is Billy B. Pedophile?

Addendum:

In fairness to Nissan (and NTT Data, whose products I'm completely unfamiliar with), I thought I would dig into the accuracy of the blog linked above prior to placing the commentary above on my site, as Nissan makes some very good products - some of which I wish I could put in my driveway to be perfectly honest. The more I thought about it, I just couldn't believe the brilliant minds at Nissan wouldn't consider how Billy B. Pedophile might misuse their technology. As it turns out, if a Car Pages article is to be believed, the Nissan Abductor may be well on its way to becoming a reality, believe it or not.
