Galileo and Guardian Angels

In case you haven't heard yet, the revived Roman empire of
Bible prophecy, the European Union, is building its own satellite-navigation
system called Galileo, the details of which can be found in a BBC
Q & A article. The system is going to be comprised of "a global
network of 30 satellites providing precise timing and location information
to users on the ground and in the air." It is, unless its impact doesn't
live up to its hype, going to be a technological marvel!
What services will Galileo provide? The BBC breaks them down
into five categories and provides definitions of each as follows:
- Open Access - This will be 'free to air' and for use by the mass
market; Simple timing and positioning down to 1m.
- Commercial - Encrypted; High accuracy at the cm scale; Guaranteed
service for which service providers will charge fees.
- Safety of life - Open service; For applications where guaranteed
accuracy is essential; Integrity messages warn of errors.
- Public regulated - Encrypted; Continuous availability even in time
of crisis; Government agencies will be main users.
- Search and Rescue - System will pick up distress beacon locations;
Feasible to send feedback, confirming help is on its way.
By now you may be wondering why I'm writing about the Galileo satellite system.
There aren't a lot of red flags visible within those five services, but I want
to draw your attention to point #4 - Safety of life.
How could a "safety of life" service be of interest to Bible prophecy
watchers? I believe the answer lies within a section located approximately 3/4
of the way through the article called 'THE SAT-NAV FUTURE'. There are
eight bulleted points made concerning the future of satellite navigation, but
it's the sixth one that sets off alarm bells for me. It reads: 'Guardian
angel' services will locate separated children.
In a recent commentary, I
pointed out that the idea of children wearing "good luck charms" to
prevent vehicle-versus-child traffic accidents in residential areas has been
raised by NTT Data, Nissan and three other companies. The idea, in that scenario,
is that cars equipped with good luck charm-detecting technologies will be able
to alert drivers when children are playing near the streets - a novel idea one
might think would merely prevent accidents. We need, however, to think such
things through - and thoroughly - before nodding our heads in agreement that
they will bring a safer world for our children.
What I want my readers to ask themselves is this: If the EU's Galileo satellite
system has incorporated technologies capable of making 'guardian angel' services
a reality, how will the Galileo satellites "know" one child's location
from another, allowing a "separated" child to be reunited with its
parents? The answer is simple; 'guardian angel' services will, by necessity,
involve children being "tagged" in some manner. Therein lies the trap.
What I said in the previous commentary concerning "good luck charms"
is likewise true of technological guardian angels. It wouldn't surprise me in
the least if Satan and his minions are using, as a sub-plot, technology we are
being led to believe will make our children's lives safer as a stepping stone
in a much larger plot, the ultimate goal of which is to lead gullible mankind
closer toward societal acceptance of the technology the mark of the beast will
require in the prophetic future.
In the Bible we're told a future leader of the European Union (the Antichrist)
and his False Prophet will utilize a technology to "mark" those willing
to pledge their allegiance to him. This mark will be so far-reaching in magnitude
that no one will be able to buy or sell unless he has said mark!
Revelation 13:16-17: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor,
free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of
the beast, or the number of his name.
What am I suggesting? Plainly stated, today's 'guardian angel' service may
lead to tomorrow's mark of the beast. |
