An October 12 Surprise?

If the goal of the Iranian government was to surprise those supportive of the nation of Israel's existence, perhaps it shouldn't have announced its intention to do so in advance as seen in a Fox News story.

Fox is reporting that Iran has pledged to deliver a "final response" to the U.S. and other supporters of Israel during a religious ceremony connected with Ramadan - an event scheduled to take place on October 12th called "Qods Day."

Qods day, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency, is "held each year on the last Friday of Muslims fasting month of Ramadan after it was nominated by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, as a day to voice the protest of the Islamic Ummah against the Zionists."

Even as the western world, including the United States of America regrettably, pressures Israel to surrender its God-given covenant lands to those who wish only to destroy her, our Muslim enemies are threatening to bring harm to both Israel and those who support her. Iran openly makes statements of this nature while STILL seeking to obtain nuclear weapons in defiance of the will of the international community with practically no action being taken to prevent the goals of this rogue nation from becoming a nightmarish reality in an already dangerous world.

What will occur on October 12, Qods Day? I don't know but a spokesman for the Iranian government is quoted as saying supporters of "the Zionist regime will definitely receive the final response for their support on that day."

2nd Timothy 3:1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Isn't it good to know that those who hate Israel will definitely receive God's final response to this ongoing attempt on the part of the wicked to supersede His will?
