Christians, developments of prophetic interest are heating up rapidly with no let-up in sight it appears. The latest development in the Middle East is, no pun intended, a
BOMBSHELL!
The
Times Online is reporting that Israel's attack on Syria which has garnered so much attention in the news media recently was far more dramatic than previously thought. Not only that, in spite of Hezbollah's absurd claims of defeating Israel in Lebanon, the article in question also demonstrates that the apple of God's eye, Israel, is still a military power of extraordinary brilliance!
Based on information contained in the Times Online article, it seems Israeli commandos on the ground in Syria captured
North Korean nuclear materials prior to Israel destroying the facility where they were being held. According to the article, tests conducted on the materials reveal they were North Korean in origin which the Israeli government subsequently disclosed to the United States government on September 6th, resulting in the U.S. giving its blessing to Israel to carry out the attack which was apparently a complete success.
Bearing witness to the lateness of the hour we're living in, it now appears certain that there is a brand new Axis of Evil on the move - one that includes Syria, North Korea, Iran and, last but not least, Russia. Yes, Russia has its hand caught in the cookie jar in this caper as well.
Russia, it is well known by those who read my website regularly, has been and yet is helping Iran with its nuclear technologies which is, in turn, allowing Iran to continue in its quest to obtain nuclear weapons. Russia has also been preparing Syria and Iran to defend themselves from air raids by giving them their very best air defense missile systems recently. None of these systems appear to have posed a serious threat to the Israeli Air Force which I praise the Lord for, particularly as the magnitude of the daring Israeli raid's significance becomes increasingly obvious.
The Times Online article indicates that a number of North Korean personnel were killed by the Israelis which the article says is why North Korean and Syrian officials met recently - a
news item I posted on the site's news page. Why? Because I found it a very interesting sidebar that North Korea and Syria were strengthening their ties in the aftermath of the Israeli air raid if there was no truth to the rumors circulating in the news.
Perhaps, I thought of the North Korean-Syrian meeting in Pyongyang, this was a smoking gun indicator that all the rumors flying about of a covert Syrian-North Korean nuclear weapons effort could be legitimate. I am practically convinced now that this is the case and that the Times Online's written hypothesis that this meeting may have been a planning session during which Syria and North Korea may have worked on coordinating a response to the Israeli attack is probable. Depending on what that response consists of, should it occur, Damascus' historic record of being the longest continuously-inhabited city on earth may be nearing its end.
And to think that I wrote about the possibility that the clock was ticking toward Isaiah 17's fulfillment occurring almost four years ago to the very day in a
commentary for my site!
Christians and skeptics alike, hear me. The Bible's prophecies left to be fulfilled are all lining up for fulfillment at this very hour as I and many others are desperately trying to point out to a world that has forgotten its God!
Believe it or not, Damascus is on its way out and there isn't a thing that anyone can do to stop it from occurring. As it was written by the Prophet Isaiah, so it will be fulfilled as foreseen by the Most High God.
WHEN Damascus is destroyed, I wonder how many people will still deny that God's Word is true, in spite of what should be astronomical evidence as to the accuracy of God's Word in predicting future events even
centuries in advance of them occurring. Plenty we can be sure as those who choose not to believe in God do so because their love of the world and their sinful lifestyles exceeds their desire to make peace with their heavenly Father through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Christians, I know that many of us are battle weary, I among you to be sure, but there is a light at the end of this tunnel that is beginning to glow brighter and brighter for those of us who have placed our faith in Jesus Christ above all else! Truly, our redemption draweth nigh! Our Lord is coming as we can see by the Armageddon-like birth pains we are seeing surface in the news of our world today so look up!
Lift up your heads and look up!
Lost soul, if you haven't come to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, this is NOT the time to be delaying in reaching a soul-altering decision.
Because so many of
the signs of Christ's coming are appearing before us, there is great cause for to believe that the
Rapture of the Church is near, perhaps at the very door! If the Rapture takes place and you are
left behind, the odds of you ending up on the winning team when all is said and done will be drastically reduced so think about what you've read here - and
choose Jesus Christ today.
Tomorrow may be too late. Literally.
