A Major Quake Coming For Israel

by Michael G. Mickey

A Ynetnews.com article indicates a recent study indicates a major earthquake is headed for Israel, potentially in the not-too-distant future. Is there any doubt this is accurate as we look at the news of our world today in comparison to Bible prophecy?

Rami Hofstetter, head of the Geophysical Institute of Israel, is quoted in the article as saying the following of the study:

"Saying Israel will be subject to a major earthquake is like saying the sun will rise tomorrow. A major quake in on the way. "We just don't know where it's going to hit."
In sending this article to me, a reader of the site, Elijah, wrote the following which I concur with wholeheartedly:
People say predicting when and where earthquakes will strike is an almost impossible task. But the Bible not only prophesies of several major earthquakes which are yet to occur, but does so in intricate detail, providing death counts (Revelation 11:13), damage reports (Revelation 16:18-19) and subsequent geological upheavals (Zechariah 14). I know of no other such book which makes similar claims, and that is one of the reasons why we know the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.
As more and more evidence continues to pile up indicating that we are well on our way to seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled to the letter, the skeptics continue to shake their heads in disbelief.

How many of them will we somehow be able to reach with the truth on this side of the Rapture of the Church? That is the question - and time is running out.
