An Arutz Sheva article dated today opens as follows (emphasis added mine):

US President George W. Bush said a nuclear Iran would mean World War III. Israeli newscasts featured Gog & Magog maps of the likely alignment of nations in that potential conflict.

Channel 2 and Channel 10 TV showed the world map, sketching the basic alignment of the two opposing axes in a coming world war, in a manner evoking associations of the Gog and Magog prophecy for many viewers. The prophecy of Gog and Magog refers to a great world war centered on the Holy Land and Jerusalem and first appears in the book of Yechezkel (Ezekiel).

Talk about a follow-up to my 10-16-07 commentary! People's eyes are beginning to be opened to the TRUTH contained in the prophetic Word of God and that, brothers and sisters in Christ, is a sign of things to come, especially where the nation of Israel is concerned.

In Matthew 23:37-39, Christ explains how Jerusalem has failed to accept the teachings of the prophets and men of God sent to lead them to the truth and how this has pained God. Christ also details what is going to have to occur in order for Him to return at the Second Coming to save the children of Israel in their darkest hour:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

We know that, in the Tribulation Period to come, Israel will at last open its eyes and heart to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for it is written in Romans 11:26:

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Presently, Israel is beginning to draw a connection between what the prophets of old said and what they are seeing take place around them in this present age. This, Christians, is absolutely HUGE in its implications because, as I have just shown, a time is coming when all of Israel, both as a nation and all those of the children of Israel who call upon the name of the Lord in the prophetic future, will be saved! The Deliverer is going to come out of Zion and godliness will be no more! Hallejuah!

Joel 3:16: The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Our Deliverer is coming and there is more reason to believe that to be true than ever before! It's moments like these when we realize how Bible prophecy proves God to be exactly who He claims to be!

Lift up your heads, Christians! He is coming!
