2Corinthians 6:17 (KJV) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

This is what God’s Word instructs us to do if we are claiming the title Christian and have submitted our lives to Christ.

We are called to separate ourselves.

What about what God’s Word says here?

Romans 12:2(KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

How many Christians out there are still celebrating Halloween?

Worse, how many are out there celebrating it by just slaping a cute “Christian” title on the holiday?

Let me ask a few questions to those who are bible believing Christians…

How would you feel if your spouse kept photos of his or her former girlfriend of boyfriend?

How would you feel if he or she celebrated an anniversary of special times with another after marrying you?

Our God is a jealous God demanding exclusive devotion (Exodus 20:5). Do you think He cares if you encourage your children to partake in a holiday that honors Satan, the god of this world?

In my series titled “The Right Life For The Last Days” I have been focusing on separating oneself from the world. If you are a blood bought soul who lives for the Lord, we have no reason to be giving this holiday ANY sort of recognition.

I also do not believe in churches having a “harvest festival” either. This is basically a Halloween party with everyone giving the “wink wink… nod nod… say no more” attitude. All we are doing in this sort of “celebration / event / party” is glorifying a pagan holiday by doing exactly as the early Catholic Church did and just gave everything a “Christian name.”

“HEY.. Slap the word CHRISTIAN on it and it makes everything A-OK.” That is the sad mentality of today’s Laodicean church. They have conformed to the world.

Already I can hear some of you, “Well Ray, it is a great way to reach out to the kids in the neighborhood.”

Folks, Halloween falls on Wednesday night. You want a great witness to your neighborhood? Hold your church service and teach on the saving grace and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and stop trying to conform to the ways of the world. But worse, stop trying to use a pagan holiday to share the gospel. It does not work. You can not mix the light with the darkness and that is all this holiday represents, the darkness. It does not matter how many “Christian” names you slap on it, it is still the devil’s holiday.

The time to draw the line in the sand is now.

Who are we going to live for 100%?

Who do we serve?

Christ did not say” pick up your broom and follow me”

He said to “Take up His Cross and follow Me.”

Matthew 16:24 (KJV) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Again, do you have pictures of old girlfriends or boyfriends around? What about celebrating old girlfriends' or boyfriends' birthdays, anniversaries, ect?

Then why are you treating God and His Son in this manner?

Especially when He said not to?

We need to make the stand for what is right, not what is comfortable or sounds good to the world.

Joshua 24:15 (KJV) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Who Do You Serve?

Jesus stated the following…

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you do not have Christ in your life, you will spend eternity in hell. This is a fact. It does not matter if you believe this or not, it is the truth spoken by Jesus himself. If your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life you will go to hell for what you have not done and that is accepting Christ as your personal savior. To be placed in the Lamb Book of Life, you need to turn your life completely over to Him. Having “head” knowledge or “just believing in Christ” is not the same as having “heart” knowledge with Christ living in your heart. We know that even the devils believe in Him, where are they spending eternity?

James 2:19 (KJV) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

We work hard at Prophezine to show that Bible Prophecy is coming to pass. Because of this fact, the Bible is true. Since the Bible is the true and inerrant word of God, there is a heaven and there is a hell.

If you claim the title of “Christian” then take account of yourself this day. Many claim the title, but we read in God’s Word that the title does not get you into heaven.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Who you serve will determine where you will spend eternity. If you are not serving Christ and a true child of God, then you are serving Satan and a child of the enemy.

If you are not 110% sure, then take account of yourself, your very life depends upon it.

1John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
