Is Barack Obama a Muslim wolf in Christian wool? A political commentary by Reuven Koret appearing on Israel Insider's website leaves little doubt in my mind.

If anything hammered Koret's point home for me it was his reference to an interview of Barack Obama that appeared in the New York Times on March 6, 2007.

In the interview, Barack Hussein Obama spoke of the Muslim call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.” I once served in the United States Air Force on a base where the sound of our Muslim allies praying could be heard at sunset. I remember hearing the chants quite well. Funny thing for me was that I, as a Christian, didn't find their wailing to a foreign god to be very pretty at all! While I counted them as brothers in arms and respected their right to worship according to their traditions, it was worrisome to me rather than pretty.

I would think the sound of someone squalling to a god other than our God would be anything but pretty to anyone who is a true Christian. This, it would seem, should be especially true of a Christian hearing an Islamic prayer given that the Muslim faith lowers Christ to the role of a mere prophet! How can a blood-bought Christian be acceptive of that on any level? I don't know but good ole' Barack Obama, the Messiah of liberalism? He is not only acceptive of it, he thinks it's just lovely! Am I surprised? Of course not!

As I have indicated here before and will continue to, the god that Barack Obama and the congregation at Trinity United Church of Christ bows before isn't the God of the Bible. Their god hates Israel which, of course, is quite convenient for Barack if he is indeed a Muslim in Christian wool. No wonder former Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan likes Barack Obama so much!

Another disturbing aspect of the New York Times interview, from my perspective, is when one reads that Senator Obama "recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent."

Not only does Senator Barack find prayers offered up to Allah to be pleasant to the ear, he can chant them word-for-word himself and with proper accent!

"Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet!"

The above is music to Barack Obama's ears, Christians! Barack may like that melody but this Christian doesn't! Here's a version a little more Christian for Barack to find to be "one of the prettiest sounds" he's ever heard....

Jesus Christ is Lord! Jesus Christ is Lord!
Jesus Christ is Lord! Jesus Christ is Lord!
I witness that there is no god but the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
I witness that there is no god but the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

I wonder how 'pretty' Barack would find it if I crowed that in my perfect Southern accent at sunset every day somewhere within earshot of him? My guess is it wouldn't be music to his ears.

It seems that Barack Obama's "chickens are coming home to roost" as Reverend Jeremiah Wright Jr. would put it!
