A reprint of a letter mailed out by the American Family Association:
The upcoming election is the most critical election in the history of our nation. The very future of our nation’s foundation is at stake. Every person will be affected. If the liberals win, then our foundation will no longer be based on the traditional Judeo-Christian morality. It will gradually but assuredly be based on an ever shifting, ever moving foundation. If the liberals win, the damage can’t be stopped with elections two, four or forty years from now. America will forever be changed. We will keep seeing a gradual and growing hostility toward people of faith, especially Christians. The morals of our nation will continue to decline. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price.
In case you may think I’m a “the sky is falling” type of person, you should know: When it comes to predictions, I am a very reserved person. But not on this one. I cannot overstate the damage a liberal victory will do to our country. The upcoming election is the most important in the history of our nation. Yes, if the liberals win you will lose some of your religious freedoms and free speech rights. Churches and pastors will not be exempt. You will not be allowed to say certain things about a particular group. Every item of the homosexual agenda will be approved. All the laws protecting the unborn will be wiped away.
I cannot overemphasize the importance of the Nov. 4 election. That is why I urge you to vote and encourage your family members, friends, Sunday School class and church members to vote. America’s future – the future of your children and grandchildren – is at stake.

If we fail to act, I am in total agreement with Donald Wildmon that every - and I do mean EVERY - item on the homosexual agenda is going to be forwarded, threatening to destroy the biblically-instituted composition of the family. And the unborn? Suffice to say there will be plenty more of them that are forever UNBORN.
Freedom of Speech Threatened
Already - and I can't emphasize this enough - free speech has been overtly threatened by Missouri law enforcement and prosecutors in the name of Obama as seen in the video below and it will only get worse if he is elected president.

Police officers and prosecutors have already been called on by the Obama campaign to subvert one of the founding principles of our nation and, by no accident I assure you, it barely got noticed by the mainstream media!
Christians, if you think Barack Obama liberals are proponents of free speech, you're right but only if what you're freely speaking about is in tune with their ideologies! And Christians? The Word of God is not going to mesh with what they are going to be doing in the next four years if we don't stop them!
If the Church doesn't speak with its votes on November 4th, it may not be allowed to speak at all in the not-too-distant future. The threat is real and we need to treat it as real!
Economic Fears
The Obama campaign is making the focus of its final days leading up to the election the economy. While I am as concerned about that as anyone else is, as a Christian, I have my eyes on the big picture and the big picture tells me that we need to pay a lot more attention to the character, background and associations of Barack Obama in light of the threat he poses to the Word of God's relevance in our nation in the days leading up to this election.
Can anyone think of anything more important to our nation than the Word of God's relevance in it? I can't and it's going to be marginalized to an unprecedented level if Barack Obama is elected president. Of that you can be sure.
Already, I've documented here that the Democrats are largely to blame for the present economic crisis impacting our nation and even the world, but for some reason, which I'm at a loss to understand in light of what I've documented, the American public continues to believe the Democrats are best-suited to get our economy rolling once again. But should we even be concerned about that, for argument's sake, if obtaining a better economy strips us of our freedoms, dramatically advances the homosexual agenda, weakens our national defense, and threatens to expand the Holocaust of the innocents we call abortion? I don't think so.
If God could speak to us today, do you think He'd tell us to think about our wallets and portfolios or our righteousness? Ironically, He can and does through His Word.
Psalm 37:16: A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
The Lord upholds whom? The righteous.
Proverbs 15:16: Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.
If we vote trying to protect the unborn, stop the advance of the homosexual agenda, and preserve our ability to freely speak on a full range of topics relevant to the teachings of the Word of God and the economy, purely for argument's sake, shouldn't improve, wouldn't we be better off as Christians to have little with the fear of the Lord than more cash in the bank? I defer to Scripture.
Proverbs 16:18: Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
Christians, we should be values voters above all else as great revenues without righteousness? They are of no value to us whatsoever! Heaven forbid, literally, that we lose sight of that biblical truth!
And Christians? Don't forget that our Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills, as we read in Psalm 50:10! There is no safer place for us to be as Christians than in the will of God for it is the Lord, not man, who provides for us!
Luke 12:24: Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Luke 12:27-28: Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Take your cares to the Lord - and trust Him
Phillippians 4:6-7: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Christians, no matter what the mainstream media tells us, we have to do what is right for our nation's moral and spiritual interests. A liberal victory in November is going to be dreadfully dangerous for our nation and the Church itself.
Pray up, remember that God is with us, and vote! We have to win in November! Things can and will get worse if we don't.
