Cause For Concern?
At this point, Christians, I am at a loss to describe how concerned I am for our nation if this man is elected president. I pray that, if Senator Obama is elected, all of the concerns so many fine Americans and organizations have about him will prove to have been exaggerated. I fear, however, that they won't.
Of greatest concern to me is there will not be the usual checks and balances we have in place to keep the Left at bay if Obama wins the White House. Can you imagine what the Left is going to do if it controls the White House, as well as the House and Senate? Every social issue that is of importance to Christians will be lost and, I suspect, our right to have a spoken opinion contrary to that which the Left will deem politically correct as well.
Admittedly, I have post-traumatic stress disorder which impacts one's anxieties and can lead one to be overly-committed to protection and concern for the things one holds dear, but I don't think I'm being over-protective here when I say that a LOT of red flags are being raised by the prospect of Barack Obama becoming president, especially in light of the fact that the mainstream media is feeding us nothing but how good and decent Barack Obama is 24 hours per day which, ironically, may be the greatest single reason for us to be concerned, given how far Left the mainstream media is!
God is in control no matter who wins the White House, Christians, but remember that we have a role to play here in this world for Christ. We are to shed light where there is none and to be the salt that prevents spoilage of our nation!
Salt and light, Church! We must be salt and light!
