Creation versus evolution

Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Although God created every star in the heavens, every tree, every animal that walks the earth, every bird that flies in the sky, every planet that orbits every sun, every fish that swims in the sea, and every other thing without exception, He receives no credit today in the classrooms of America. What are our children being taught in school as truth? The theory of evolution, of course!

Isn't it ironic that a THEORY is treated as fact in our classrooms, but the Biblical FACT of Creation as revealed in God's Word is banned from the same classrooms because it represents a violation of the separation of Church and State? Who is behind this cleverly-designed tactic of misinformation? Satan, of course!

Satan, the god of this world (as seen in 2nd Corinthians 4:4), had an ingenius plan when he worked to get the Biblical account of Creation ripped from our schools. By creating an environment in which a satanic alternative could be taught to our children (the theory of evolution), Satan achieved a significant victory in his war to conquer the earth.

Through the spreading of the theory of evolution in our classrooms, Satan has fired directly at the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent nature of God by raising the question of whether God truly made every thing that exists for many years now.

In doing so, Satan has planted a seed of doubt in the minds of many young and impressionable people in the hope those acceptive of the theory of evolution would ultimately reach the conclusion that there is a distinct possibility there is no God. Sadly, many who have placed their faith in science have fallen for this trick and denied the existence of God as a supreme being as a result, giving themselves over to the ridiculous idea our existence in all its complexity is the result of a cosmic accident. What a tragedy!

Before anyone can become a child of God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, it is critical they first understand that God is the Creator and Master of all things. Without that understanding, there can be no hope of salvation, no hope of eternal life, and nothing upon which to build a foundation of faith in Almighty God. As such, it is critical the issue of whether we were created or evolved is resolved once and for all!

How can we possibly resolve the evolution versus creation debate which has gone on for decades? We'll use a time-proven method of determining the truth which no scientist can defeat, the Bible, the Word of God!

Scriptural support of Creation

Genesis 1:21: And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Isaiah 40:25-26: To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

Isaiah 42:5: Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Isaiah 45:12: I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Isaiah 45:18: For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Colossians 1:16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Isaiah 40:28: Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

There is no Scriptural basis to believe in evolution whatsoever! The word evolve isn't in the Bible. Neither is the word evolution.

Did God deliberately mislead us by failing to tell us how all life was evolved by Him from single-celled organisms over the course of millions of years? No!

God's Creation is clearly defined in the Bible to the extent the theory of evolution should never be accepted by anyone under God's reign of power. Why? Because to accept evolution as truth is to deny God's Word as truth!

Although I have listened to many a learned person try to explain how God may have used evolution to "create" us, the two can not be reconciled into one account of how we came to exist. One is truth, the other is a lie.

Millions of stars, planets, organisms, animals, people, plants, trees, and waters are demonstrative of the wisdom of God to the extent none of us should doubt the depth of His genius.

Psalms 147:5: Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

As the Bible establishes God's understanding is infinite, we have no basis upon which to believe He had to create any revised versions of His original creations. Having an infinite mind, God knew precisely what He intended man to be and made him accordingly.

Genesis 1:27 clearly states God made man in His image. As such, the suggestion that evolution is a valid explanation of mankind's existence is to make a monkey out of God, something I don't recommend anyone do!

All the theories in the world will never change the truth of God's Word. We do not exist today as the result of some cosmic accident, but as a direct result of the creative genius of a loving God! God doesn't want you to believe in evolution. He wants you to believe in Him!
